Trabzon Tunnel Aquarium
The Trabzon Tunnel Aquarium is the world’s first aquarium built inside a tunnel. The aquarium features a 300-meter-long walking path. There are 61 specially designed tanks featuring different themes for aquatic life. With a total water capacity exceeding 1 million liters, we take justifiable pride in being the first and only aquarium in the Black Sea Region. The tunnel section is 22 meters long.
The Trabzon Tunnel Aquarium is a fascinating attraction that draws foreign tourists, captures the interest of school and student groups, and is enjoyed by children just as much as adults.
The aquarium is home to a wide variety of marine species, and here you can see aquatic creatures. More than 5,000 aquatic creatures and 80 different species contribute to the aquarium’s magical atmosphere.
